Title: "New Hope #60"

Size/support: Tempera on 18" X 24" studio-wrapped, stretched canvas

Work date: 2008

Edges are staple-free and painted black. COA included; signed and dated on the reverse. Front signed at client's request. Finished with 2 coats of clear gloss varnish.

This is the sixtieth offering in this series of breast-to-canvas artworks. The design was painted directly onto my breasts, which were then pressed onto the canvas. This process was repeated several times, using different color combinations, until I was pleased with the final composition. This series is intended to be intimate, whimsical, and fun (and an interesting conversation piece).

This original painting consists of black, white, and metallic gold, which would go well in almost any setting. Here are some close-up views of this artwork...please note that the metallic colors are very hard to photograph accurately.
