Hi!  I'm Kira, the human member of the collaboration that is TurtleKiss.com.  I started this site to share my art (and Koopa's) with the world and help raise money & awareness for turtle rescue at the same time. Koopa's now retired from painting, but I've bounced back to solo artist status again, and this time it's to prove that I'm more that just a "former turtle's assistant." I have a lot of unique new ideas that I'm looking forward to sharing in the near future.

I've been  painting for about 20 years and crafting jewelry for about 16 years.  I prefer painting abstracts with vivid colors and lots of texture, but I'm skilled in many different styles and mediums.  I'm working on posting more of my photography and artwork as soon as I get a chance, but there's a small sampling below and in the navigation bar to the left.
